We answered a ton of questions, introduced the TRAVIS PLUSH!! and talked about shipping. I'll briefly sum them up here as best I can, but seriously, go check out the livestream for all your Q's A'd!
Shipping & VAT
We wanted to make sure it was very clear, shipping and any duties/taxes are NOT currently added to your pledge. Those will be due during the pledge manager, Backerkit, portion of the campaign. We have estimates of shipping costs on the campaign page, near the bottom. For backers in the UK/EU, we also have to charge VAT, which is different for each country, so those prices are not added to that handy graph. We don't want there to be any surprises, so we discussed it during the stream.
New Social Goal!
Congratulations! Right before the stream went up, you all completed the 7th round of Social Goals and we're thrilled to announce the 8th round is now live! We need all the artists out there to participate in this round, there's a lot! If you've been waiting, if you did a couple but haven't done one lately, THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE!
BONUS SOCIAL GOAL!
If you watched the livestream, we threw in a bonus social goal that if completed will unlock 2 additional cards in The Nightmares Deck.
This week's bonus social goal is: Draw a plushie version of Steve and a plushie version of Dustin, holding hands with Kai (Beneeta's cat) somewhere in the picture. If you need a reference, head to the livestream at about the 34:52 mark.

Due to popular demand, we're proud and thrilled to announce that we've added The Travis Plush as an add-on!
Yes, these are just mockups, but as we get samples from the factory, we will absolutely share the little beauties in updates! REMEMBER if you'd like add-ons, you will add those to your cart during the pledge manager, Backerkit after the Kickstarter campaign is over. There is nothing to do during the live Kickstarter except add bonus support if you'd like to help us reach more Stretch Goals. That all is discussed in this Update if you have questions.

Hello Friends,
Wait, WHAT?! We're already 3 weeks into this campaign? Hold up, for real? There's only 9 days left?!
I don't know who needs to hear this, but you all are awesome, seriously. This campaign has been a ton of fun and we want to pack as much into this final countdown as possible!
What Have We Unlocked?
And just like that, week 3 of exploring the Addison Apartments is in the books. The pledges keep rolling and we have now unlocked The Box Sleeve for Super Strange Nightmares (The Deluxe version of the game).
In total, we've unlocked 8 Stretch Goals! And we're just about $23,000 away from adding Solo Mode and a fifth player to the game. Keep pushing, we can get there!
On the Social Goal front, we've unlocked 30 cards in just three short weeks from some talented artists! We are flying through our Social Goals and have unlocked:
From week 2 to week 3 we have gained 181 backers (HI!!) taking our total to 2,232 backers! In that same time, we have raised an additional $16,300 for a grand total of $227,600 over the course of the campaign

Repost: What Is Kickstarter | Add-ons | Pledge Manager + Shipping | Bonus Support

It's been awhile since we had a post to introduce our newbies to the process that is Kickstarter, Backerkit, and our current timeline. If you've read this before, feel free to skip this update, I promise, it won't hurt my feelings. [BUT DON'T SKIP ANY OF THE OTHER ONES! That will hurt my feelings lol]
How Does Kickstarter Work?
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that allows project creators to raise funds for their vision. The project creator sets a goal and offers pledge tiers with rewards to backers. The money gathered from backers is then pooled into a total on the Kickstarter page. The project becomes successfully funded when that total reaches the pledge goal. Additional funds allow for the project creator to produce bonus content for the project that is added for free to the retail and/or deluxe version of the game. To check which Stretch Goals are added to each version, check the Stretch Goal portion of the campaign page.
After the campaign ends, we take that money to produce and print the game and merch. In exchange for your support, you receive the pledge you backed! It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
How Can I get Add-ons?
You'll be able to purchase specific add-ons after the campaign is over in our pledge manager, Backerkit. For now, all you need to do is pledge to a tier, any tier works - they all lead to the same Backerkit add-on page. We encourage you to back at a tier you can afford that has the items you know you want because prices are less expensive in a tier than if you were to buy things seperately as add-ons. As an example, The Full Charley's Collection has 1 of every add-on and the game for $950. Buying all of that separately would cost $1,155 + it comes with a signature from Steve Gabry which is priceless.
What is a Pledge Manager?
A pledge manager called Backerkit is used to manage important aspects of your pledge like adding and paying for extra add-ons and taxes/duties to your order after the Kickstarter ends, telling us where to ship your goods, and more. It opens a few weeks after the Kickstarter ends and remains open for quite some time before officially closing so production can begin. Shipping is paid in Backerkit, not during the Kickstarter.
There will be two different "Backerkit Stores," one for Kickstarter backers with exclusive discounted pricing and another for pre-orders, both running concurrently. Kickstarter backers will receive an email about 6-8 weeks post-Kickstarter with a private link to their exclusive store. It's important to back a tier now so everyone gets that special discounted price!
What Happens After the Kickstarter?
After that, we play the waiting game a bit. When the Kickstarter ends, we will be finalizing the art and graphic design for the game, work with the factory on game box design so everything fits nicely, deliver finished files to the factory, get the game manufactured, assemble the games, and freight ship to the fulfillment centers before the games can ship to you. It’s a long process, but we’ll be sending updates out as we clear each stage. For this project, we plan to deliver the game in JUNE 2024. With all manufacturing projects there can be delays. We have planned for all the known issues (war/conflict, COVID-19 outbreaks, cordyceps, etc) that have plagued manufacturing the past few years, but there can always be something unexpected. Don’t worry, as soon as we know, and know the impact, we will pass the information along to you. We will always keep you well-informed every step of the way with at least one update a month!
How Do I Spread The Word?

Adding Bonus Support
Why should you add Bonus Support?
If you'd like to pay for shipping now or know there's an add-on you ABSOLUTELY NEED when Backerkit opens you can add bonus support now to cover those costs. Once the Backerkit email arrives your pledge items will be in your cart, paid for, already and you'll have a credit for the amount you added in bonus support. That credit acts like a gift card to pay for any add-ons you add to your cart and/or shipping + duty fees (VAT). Adding bonus support now helps unlock more Stretch Goals (FREE STUFF!), so if you can afford it, we highly recommend doing it. Everyone likes free stuff, and we're so close to our next stretch goal that if everyone added bonus support to pay just for the shipping cost, we'd already have unlocked it!
Here's a step by step of how to add bonus support when you've already made a pledge. This is the same for all tiers, so even if you're in a higher tier and want to add some bonus support for add-ons or shipping to help us get even more Stretch Goals, follow this guide.
On Desktop
Log in and navigate to the Sally Face Kickstarter Page. At the top of the campaign page click "Manage Your Pledge":
On the next screen click "Change your pledge":
On the next screen click the box that says "Bonus support" and type in the number you'd like to add. Then click "Pledge $xxx".
SUCCESS! You're Done.
On Mobile
Log in and navigate to the Sally Face: Strange Nightmares campaign, found under "Profile" or by searching for Sally Face: Strange Nightmares in the search. Once there, click "Manage."
That brings up a new page, click the three... at the top of the page.
Click Update pledge:
On the next page click the + button to add bonus support (or you can click where the zero is and type in the amount of support you'd like to add).
Once done, click Confirm and you're all set!
Remember cards will not be charged until the end of the Kickstarter, which is March 30th at 11:59pm Pacific Time. Once the Kickstarter ends you'll be charged within 48 hrs.
